Actron CP9185 Got it, Love it!
I ordered the CP9185 via Tooltopia on sunday, received it on tuesday. Its a great tool. I updated the software, which was not a problem on Win XP. I then tried it out on a 2000 BMW, 2001 Subaru, and 2006 Siebring. Works great. I was quickly able to determine which O2 sensor was bad on the Subaru by looking at the live data graphing functions, since the fault code just stated "O2 sensor".
Its a big unit, but thin. The display is easy to read and when plugged in to a car and is backlit, and the car powers the unit to save on the 9v battery. The unit is easy to use. I didnt need the manual to figure it out as it has simple on-screen directions. I only needed the manual to look up some abreviations in the PID functions (there's one now).
Im looking forward to using it and its a great addition to the tool box. Like!

This scanner provides all of the necessary features needed in diagnosing an engine light or other problems. Not only does it read and remove the codes, it also provides a means of monitoring different engine parameters to aid in troubleshooting. It also has a graphics feature which makes it easier to see what is happening. I use this scanner every month whether there is an engine light or not in order to get a jump on any pending problems. The only drawback I have is that it will graph only one parameter at a time but on the other hand, all of the needed parameters can be downloaded on to a computer, tranfered to a spreadshheet, and charted.

Actron CP9185 Elite is easy to use.
For a long time I didnt think they made any new scanners that worked with the original ALDL OBD1 computers. I actually purchased a special Serial cable set up and tried some "free" software for my laptop, but quickly discovered that's not nearly as practical as this simple portable unit. After reading some reviews I made the purchase and was delighted when it was just as easy as plugging in and selecting the year, make and model of the car. I really like the ability to create a short list of things you need to view, and only wish there was a way to save them so I dont have to create the list each time. Other than that, this was exactly as advertised and it really made setting the TPS a snap compared to using the voltmeter and jumper wires.

Very good scanner, cleared the code from my 2000 x5 in about 2 minutes total time. saved me $70 by doing it myself. I used this twice and it did a good job diagnosing the problem, the recording and playback really come in handy when troubleshooting.
